2nd September 2008 1963 Rover 95 Reg. XWC 828 in Beige and Dark Red with a Beige interior. Owned by me since 1996, but has only done 5000 miles in that time. It needs more use, but I do not have the time due to travel. The car was re-painted about 20 years ago and has absolutely no sign of rust, also the bumpers were re-chromed. It is complete with handbook and tools, including King Dick and has 5 months MOT remaining. On the downside; the petrol gauge float has sunk, the HMV radio stopped, but is apparently easily fixed and some fabric moths got under the rubber mats on the passenger’s side and had their way with the carpet pile, though they have been evicted now. Price: £4000 ono.

28th July 2008 1955 Rover 75 with rare metal sunroof. Reg No. PXU 653. This 1955 interim model has been owned by me since May 1994 having previously been an exhibit in a small museum in Kent. It has been the subject of much work including an interior retrim but keeping some of the original panels and new carpets with original style foot mat and binding. It has also had all rust removed and a repaint and some rechroming work done. The sunroof frame and mechanism has been removed from the car and repaired to stop leaks and also overhauled. The car has had new rear springs and the front suspension and king pins seen to. The car is running on a recent set of Avon crossplies which help to keep the steering light. The engine bay is in its original mainly untouched state. There are a few areas where detailing could make this car exceptional and a show winner. Being sold to help fund the restoration of the Pinin Farina P4 Offers in the region of £7500.00

17th June 2008 Rover 75 Cyclops 1951 HBE 774 - This is a rather fine car. I have owned it for 17 months and have driven it rarely and carefully. It was completely renovated before I bought it and is in excellent condition, inside and out. The connaught green paint shimmers, most of the chrome work shines, the engine purrs and the car is a joy to behold. In the period that I have had it I have had the rear window resealed, have had it fully serviced and have enjoyed driving it. It is not perfect: the radio does not work, some of the small chrome is pitted and I find 3rd gear jolly difficult to get into. Otherwise, though, it is pretty impressive and flew through MOT in late April. Why I am selling? I have just bought a narrow boat and I will not be able to spend time with both. I paid £5250 in 2007. I am happy to sell the car for £4,750. This reflects the fact that the purchaser would probably want to look at 3rd gear.
